As usual, you are right on target, Robert Reich. Thank you for expressing our views to the world. I have never imagined that I would ever feel the frustration and desperation I am feeling for what is happening in our country. It seems that hatred has prevailed.
I think that what the Statue of Liberty represents is being defaced and disgraced every day. With what’s going on, France should rescind it!!! Our history of open arms to those who desire to come to the “land of the free”, “the land of opportunity” seem to have abruptly closed!!! “All men are created equal” is a joke now under this administration and his side. I’m horrified at this environment in which declared neo-nazi’s and white supremacists, could feel comfortable openly running for elected office representing the views of this administration and some of it’s followers. How they have no qualms about scarring the lives of so many – children and desperate mothers and fathers – without batting an eye is beyond my comprehension…and then hiding behind a scripture that was used to support slavery!!!
……and there is freedom of the press… horrible name calling…. need I go on????
If he and his supporters dare to take away our right to vote as American citizens, and remove names from voters’ lists, I fear there is going to be a civil war!!! The very idea of removing names of living people who have been eligible to vote for years!!! If they think ineligible undocumented people are going to attempt to vote, that is a joke!
