While many want to be sanctimonious or purist about illegal immigration, the reality is we have created an economy dependent on it. Our last construction boom was predicated on illegal immigration, our produce sector is predicated on illegal immigration and our domestic and lawn service sector as well. Honesty is never necessary when looking for a scapegoat.
