Today I spent four hours downtown for the Occupy Houston march on four banks, Bank Of America, Wells Fargo, JP Morgan Chase, and Amegy Bank. At each bank several people went in and cancelled or closed all their accounts,
Andy Meyer, Evan Carroll, and Dustin Phipps did a great job in leading the protest in a high spirited and peaceful manner.
The march started in Tranquility Park at around 9:40 AM (it started a bit earlier than scheduled).. Houston Police Department was mostly polite and did not interfere with the march but made sure all traffic and pedestrian laws were followed.
