Newt Gingrich And “The Poor With No Work Ethic” Share Much In Common

It is evident that Newt Gingrich’s disdain for the poor, specifically those that he claims knows no work ethic is rooted in his self reflection. He states that he makes sixty thousand dollars for a one hour speech, more than most Americans make in a year.

Newt clearly knows that that fee is unearned and unwarranted. He must then give himself real worth by denigrating those that are poor whether by choice or not. He fails to see the structural defect in our form of capitalism that have created a self-perpetuating underclass. As mister T would say, “I pity the fool”. It must be difficult being rich and pompous all knowing deep inside that you are substance-less.
