Lane Lewis elected chairman of Harris County Democratic Party

Lane Lewis was elected Harris County Democratic Chairman today. Lane gave a very inspiring and spirited speech after he was voted in.Previous chairman Gerry Birnberg became the chair in his precinct. Of course he was still his jolly and commanding self.

Seems like all in all we have a strong slate of candidates. I feel a spirit of victory in the air. It helps that the current crop of Right Wing Republicans seem to be going out of their way to hurt the middle class.

Now what we need is someone to run against Ted Poe. For those who think it is impossible we should note that if a wave develops and the GOP disillusionment with the impracticality of their party continues, anything is possible. Any takers?
