Cliff Olney-GOP Squandered 2010 Election Mandate On Creating Bigger, More Intrusive Government..But No Jobs

Another very good report by CNN iReporter and my friend Cliff Olney. He rightfully calls out the Republicans squandering the job creation mandate they ran on and Americans thought they were voting on.

I am sure Cliff understands that the Republicans intent is never to create jobs for the middle class. Their religion, unfettered capitalism does not have room for doing anything specific for the middle class.

After all, workers are just a commodity and if the top one percent and corporations are well taken care of, there would always be scraps that the middle class can feed on. In their eyes, that is enough. Only the movers and manipulators of capital have any value.

Americans are starting to realize what the Republican religion is all about. I am sure if we keep putting our message out, we will be successful in getting real American patriots and middle class centric politicians elected.

GOP Squandered 2010 Election Mandate On Creating Bigger, More Intrusive Government..But No Jobs

Elect us and we’ll put Americans back to work". Sound familiar? It should. Republicans claimed it as their mantle in the 2010 elections. They campaigned on being the "Job Creation" Party.

After winning the U.S. House but failing to secure the Senate, Republicans rolled their sleeves up and went to work doing just what they campaigned on doing for unemployed Americans. Right?

Seen any job bills come throught the House? Me neither. No…nothing to create jobs..nadda..zip. Lots of obstructionism. But that’s how a party in the minority rules. Keeping growth at a minimum helps the GOP politically but doesn’t do much for the unemployed or America’s small businesses..does it?

And what are the GOP candidates for President again running on in this campaign for President? Job creation…LOL. They want everyone to know that they will create more jobs should you elect them.

More than they did in 2010? That would be easy. One job is more than nothing.

Fewer people can get an abortion in the United States now since Republicans took over many State Legislatures. Fewer people can vote now since the 2010 GOP landslide. (If you can call Democrats and minorities that tend to vote for Democrats, people.)

Apparently, the GOP "thought " there was voter fraud and wanted to fix the election process. You see, the odds were against them in the upcoming Presidential race so the needed to address this immediately by putting their thumb on the scale of justice.

Don’t we investigate this in other countries should fraud happen? Yes. And Eric Holder, U.S. Attorney General is investigating the GOP’s "Red Swing State Initiative" to "fix the election process"- pun intended.

The GOP is a Party that claims to be against "Big Government". The big government they are against is one which is large enough to hold corporations accountable when they exploit American’s interests.

But the GOP’s view of government is different when it comes to checking through America’s bedroom windows to make sure that there’s no deviant sex going on or abortions aren’t happening.

Thank God for the antagonist in every story. They are like the North Star for any one with a moral compass. All anyone needs to do to set a true and righeous course in life is witness what the GOP want to "do for the good of our country and it’s people" and set your course for 180 degrees opposite of that direction.

Unfortunately, there’s no Chantix for Republican ideology and the propaganda from FOX News.
