Was Disappearance Of Clint Eastwood Chrysler Ad Corporate Corporate Censorship Of Americans

I was wondering why I could not find the Clint Eastwood ad for Chrysler where it talks about the industry coming back. He gave that positive message where Americans came together (ie., the Obama administration using American taxpayer dollars to save the auto industry and millions of jobs) to support Detroit and bring back the industry.

Of course this message flies in the face of the selfish, those who would sacrifice American labor to purchase the capital of a dying auto industry for cheap to further increase the wealth of a select wealthy few. Inasmuch as this was a human message and not a corporate raiding political message, somehow the video disappeared from YouTube. This is scary.

I have been preaching to everyone that would listen. I have been preaching to many in the Occupy Movement, the Coffee Party USA movement, and other movements why we must not only complain about the current disgrace that is the incestuous relationship between corporate America and our government but be active in electoral politics. Absent our involvement the only avenue we have for real communication and information dissemination, the Internet, will ultimately be regulated away from the free exchange of ideas, real news, and organizing.

YouTube blackout of Chrysler Super Bowl ad still mystery

By Brent Snavely and B.J. Hammerstein/ USA TODAY and Detroit Free Press

Chrysler’s Super Bowl ad with Clint Eastwood — view it above — was back up on Chrysler’s YouTube channel today after coming being dropped over a supposed copyright claim by the NFL.

Sometime Sunday night the video was removed from YouTube. Instead, a message said: "This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by NFL Properties LLC."

But a spokeswoman for Chrysler said today that the company did not remove the commercial, titled "Halftime in America," and is unsure why it was removed.

And NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said today that he isn’t sure why the Chrysler ad was removed from different websites: "The NFL did not file a copyright complaint about this ad with Google. We have asked Google to reinstate the ad immediately. Google is looking into why the ad was removed."

Google, which owns YouTube, and YouTube could not be reached immediately for comment.

In the commercial, Eastwood talks about the challenges still facing America as both the country and Chrysler work to fully recover from the recession of 2008 and 2009.
