Free Speech In The Liveable Forest by Charlotte Coffelt

Charlotte Coffelt is a dear friend of mine and I must state categorically that I was floored when I read her My Turn article below. If more of us displayed the empathy that characterizes Charlotte, America would be a more civil place. Our politics would be more solutions based than fear or intolerance based.

I have had lunch with Charlotte several times, each time to meet one of her many friends that have flown in from somewhere. You can always judge someone by the caliber of folks they hang around. In our many talks and emails on both politics and social issues, it should never have surprised me that she would have my back. I am sure she knows I have hers too. We will all work to make America a better place.
