Press release from War on Women Rally, Houston Organizers

“Women Will Remember in November!” as Houston Area Women take to the Streets on Saturday, April 28, in buses and carpools for the War on Women Rally at the Capitol steps in Austin.

From 4-6pm, women from all over the state will gather to make their voices heard and send a clear message to legislators and politicians that the War on Women is also a War on Moms, a War on Students, a War on Healthcare, and a War on Education.

This is the Texas contingent, joining in a national movement to be in every Capitol in the U.S. to Unite Against the War on Women! Impressively, most of these women are new to the political process and are exercising their “right to peaceably assemble” as guaranteed by the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.
