While strolling the staging area I came across a contingent marching under the Mormon banner LGBTQ Mormon and Allies. This is prescient as we now have a Republican Mormon Presidential Nominee who is standing for policies that are decidedly anti-gay and anti-other.
It is wonderful that inasmuch as the church hierarchy continues to attempt the maintenance of a patriarchal & intolerant stance, society is leaving them behind as it grows. The church will either change to reflect the inherent goodness of humanity or continue on its march to irrelevancy.
