Gabby Douglas Wins Gymnastics–Artistic Women’s All-Around

Victoria Komova delivered a very strong floor performance, but her 15.100 was not enough to catch Douglas. The Virginian becomes the third consecutive American all-around winner, following Carly Patterson in Athens and Nastia Liukin in Beijing.

Douglas climbed back onto the platform for the floor to wave to the crowd.

Komova sat in tears after the scores were announced.

Still awaiting official word on what will happen with the bronze as Mustafina and Raisman are tied.
