Caught on Camera: New York woman constantly calling man the N-word in front of her kids.

n-word racist racism

Racist New York woman using the N-word and obscenities next to her kids

This video is a shocker. The poster of this video said the following in the description.

This happened to me last Friday May 30th 2014. I’m more upset that it was done in front of her children. They will have hate and have no idea where it came from. http://www.IamOYAB.com

Today’s racists are generally cautious in their display of racism. They generally would not use the n-word so blatantly even if they have the urge to use it. It may be on the tip of their tongues but they know it is no longer cool.

What is interesting is that the current political climate in this country allows many who would control their uncivil and other negative impulses to not keep them in check. With a Right Wing that has no problem negatively racially caricaturing the President or a type of politics that shows outward hostility to the ‘others’ be they gay, liberated women, Latino, Black, foreign, poor, jobless, etc., this behavior should be expected. They’ve made uncivil insensitive behavior vogue.

This video shows a woman’s total disregard for her kids. Not only is she using profanity in front of her kids, she is using the n-word with abandon. This is poor parenting and borders on child abuse.

Many in the North and the West tend to have the false belief they have the monopoly on tolerance while the South is the bastion of racism. The racial turmoil in many of the major progressive cities like Boston, Los Angeles, Chicago, and many others is probative. I have never seen such a display here in the South.

Release of this video by the author is a service to us all. It is a lens to what is still out there. The use of the n-word is just a symptom. Until Americans are honest about this scourge called racism and a politics that skirts the line of hate and incivility, things will remain the same. Everyone must start addressing it in their own homes and their own families lest things will remain the same.
