Police Officer suspended for pointing semi-automatic at peaceful citizen
Police officers are in paramilitary gear brandishing semi-automatic weapons in Ferguson Missouri. They would have America believe they are peaceful and in it for the community. The reality is that many of them are ill behaved. Some are even overtly racist. But corrupt officers have now met their match.
It’s a different world. Because of citizen journalists corrupt police officers are being caught doing their evil deeds. This officer points his semi-automatic gun at a peaceful protester and shouts at him, ‘I will f*cking kill you’. In the past the police officer had the final word. Truth could generally belong to the lies of some. Not anymore.
The Washington Post reports the following.
A police officer who pointed an assault rifle at people in Ferguson on Tuesday night and threatened to kill them has been relieved of duty and suspended indefinitely, authorities said.
The officer, who was not identified, has been removed from the field after he pointed his semiautomatic weapon at a peaceful protester, according to Brian Schellman, a spokesman for the St. Louis County Police Department. …
A county police sergeant forced the officer, who works for the Saint Ann police, to lower his weapon and leave the area, Schellman said. …
“The unified command strongly feel these actions are inappropriate, and not indicative of the officers who have worked daily to keep the peace,” Schellman said in an e-mail.
Citizen journalists are all over the ground in Ferguson Missouri. Any corrupt police officers will find it difficult to effect their misconduct covertly. To be clear, it is understood that most police officers are honorable. However the few bad apples must be excised like a cancer. Police officer Darren Wilson proved that they can be deadly to the innocent. Good job citizen journalists. This is how our democracy will be maintained.
