Megyn Kelly shows that it is Mike Huckabee who lives in the bubble
Mike Huckabee appeared on Fox News Megyn Kelly’s The Kelly file. He was doing what he has been doing since he quit his Fox News show Huckabee, peddle his new book, “God, Guns, Grits, and Gravy.”
Megyn Kelly allowed him to give his prose about the crudeness of our current society. He did not disappoint. She reminded Huckabee that in his book he said he longed for the days of Goldie Hawn. She then showed video of Goldie Hawn dancing suggestively in a bikini.
“I was a kid during that time,” Mike Huckabee said. “I know exactly what it was. But it was suggestive but not explicit. But what we have now is really a culture that is so explicitly crude. And it is intentionally crude. My point in the book is that a lot of people who live in their own bubbles do not see the culture the same way that people do in the land of God, Guns, Grits, and Gravy. That’s the point. And whether it is related to firearms, whether it is related to the way we speak, that’s the point Megyn.”
Megyn could not contain herself. She was deferential to her former colleague, the former governor, who was obviously living in a bubble as she schooled him.
“Well, I do have some news for you before I let you go,” Megyn Kelly said. “We’re not only swearing. We’re drinking, we’re smoking, we’re having premarital sex with birth control before we go to work, and sometimes boss around a bunch of men. I gotta leave it at that”
Mike Huckabee must go out some and try to be among the people he is hoping to govern as president. It is evident he knows nothing about what happens in the South, let alone the entire country. Maybe he should check the statistics on Red States vs Blue States on premarital sex, out-of-wedlock pregnancy, venereal diseases, and government dependency before he makes statement devoid from reality.
