Close your eyes and listen. Paul Janeway is Otis Redding reincarnated. I stumbled on this guy and his band after he was featured in an article in a MotherJones email. The band’s name is St. Paul and Broken Bones.
I turns out that one of their singles, “Call Me” was used extensively in the move “50 Shades of Grey.” What is ironic is that Paul Janeway is a devout Southern Christian. He said he had no idea “50 Shades of Grey” was a BDSM movie. He said he thought it was a romantic comedy. Yeah right. But who cares. The guy is good.
St. Paul and Broken Bones has the lousiest website that does little justice to the group’s music. They should get someone to aggregate their videos and concert in a more attractive website that is more social media friendly.
