Sen Dianne Feinstein – ‘What Prime Minister Netanyahu did here was something that no ally of the US would have done’ (VIDEO)

Senator Dianne Feinstein slams Benjamin Netanyahu

Senator Dianne Feinstein appeared on Meet The Press with Chuck Todd. She discussed the current complicated crisis in the Middle East.

Benjamin Netanyahu is no ally of the United states. His behavior is that of an international thug not much different than Vladimir Putin. Speaker of the House John Boehner cheapened the House of Representatives by allowing the leader of a foreign state to use our House as a prop for his own election even as he summarily bashed our President.

Netanyahu made a similar speech to Congress nineteen years ago. In that speech he claimed that Iran would have a nuclear bomb very soon.

Almost two decades ago, in 1996, Netanyahu addressed a joint session of Congress where he darkly warned, “If Iran were to acquire nuclear weapons, this could presage catastrophic consequences, not only for my country, and not only for the Middle East, but for all mankind,” adding that, “the deadline for attaining this goal is getting extremely close.”

Nineteen years later he is trying to scuttle an agreement with Iran using the same rhetoric. Many Republicans are buying his lies even as Israeli Intelligence, Mossad, debunks Netanyahu’s rhetoric.

Dianne Feinstein did not have any kind words for the bully warmongering Israeli Prime Minister. She did not mince her words.

“I think that what Prime Minister did here was something that no ally of the United States would have done,” said Senator Feinstein. “I find it humiliating, embarrassing, and very arrogant because this agreement is not yet finished. To trash it before you have the final period on it, before you know what it is, I think is a huge error in judgement for our number one ally in that area.”

Earlier in the interview Senator Feinstein displayed the level of pragmatism that will be needed to avoid war. She understands that in fact Iran and Russia, countries many Republicans view as enemies, must be a part of any lasting solution.

To be clear, Senator Feinstein is no dove. She has been willing to play on Republican warmongering turf when she believed it was to her advantage by supporting 2002 Iraq War Resolution and the US Patriot Act.
