Ted Cruz announced that he is running for President of the United States at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA with an imagined speech that was imaginary. He started by verbally introducing his mother, his father, and his wife.
Ted Cruz early on alluded to being born in Canada so one wonders if the birthers will be addressing that. He also spoke about his Cuban father, a father that abandoned the family temporarily. This is the father who now moralizes as he demonizes President Obama, a man who has always been present for his family.
The hypocrisy of the Ted Cruz campaign will present a lot of comic blogable material effective immediately. Ted Cruz will be an effective tool to illustrate to America what is wrong with demagoguery of the Right as Ted Cruz highlights them to the nth degree.
He has already successfully started. He made a fool of himself when he had his own response to the State of the Union Address. He scared a little girl with his rhetoric in New Hampshire. He denied climate change by lying about a climate report on the Seth Meyer’s show.
