Environmental activist Josh Fox kicked off interview for challenging Stuart Varney
Josh Fox is the director and producer of Gasland and Gasland Part II, a documentary about the damage fracking does to the water supply and the environment. He appeared on Fox News Fox Business with Stuart Varney.
Josh Fox and Stuart Varney were discussing fracking in Dimock, PA. Varney said that he owned property in that area. He reminded Stuart that off air Stuart said he did not want fracking on his property.
Stuart claimed he bought his property over twelve years ago when there was no fracking in the area. He claimed that there was a running joke about people lighting their water. Josh looked in disbelief as he told him that they were neighbors. He reminded Stuart that there were over 470 peer reviewed studies that concluded fracking was a problem.
Stuart continued stating that he, himself had set his water on fire. Josh told Stuart Varney that he was lying. Varney did not take kindly to being called a liar and said that the interview was over.
Poor Stuart. When he is challenged he lies and then quits on the interview. This is how one must handle the misinforming bullies at Fox News. Their credibility must be checked immediately. Only then will they stop their modus operandi, chronic misinformers of the American citizenry.
Josh Fox later tweeted the following.
Just did outrageous @foxbusiness segment on @epa with blowhard @Varneyco who kicks me off after confronted with the truth on #fracking #liar
