Fox News fail: San Francisco official refused to play their game (VIDEO)

Fox News is not real news San Francisco board of supervisor Scott Wiener

Fox News is not real news!

The above Fox News Bill O’Reilly clip was surprising. It was surprising because it was shown on Fox News O’Reilly Factor. Why? Because it tells their audience something they probably would not otherwise hear since they are generally glued to only that station. But then again, Fox News understands that the vast majority of their viewership is very well indoctrinated and showing the video may serve as inoculation. I will explain later.

According to Raw Story,

San Francisco’s city officials have no time for Fox News’ latest attempt to gin up anti-immigrant hysteria over the alleged murder of a white American woman by an undocumented immigrant.

Bill O’Reilly sent one of his employees to ambush different members of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, accusing them of enabling the murder of Kate Steinle by declaring the city a “sanctuary city” where undocumented workers can access health care, police and fire assistance and other public services without fear of deportation or other forms of government reprisal.

Supervisor Scott Wiener would have none of it. When a Fox News ‘reporter’ attempted to ambush him he not only ignored his questions. He dictated the narrative. “Fox News is not real news,” Scott Wiener said. “And you’re not a real reporter. I talk to real news only.”

So why did Bill O’Reilly play the clip? It would seem that doing so would make some of their viewers question if for one second why any official would say that Fox News is not real news. It could plant a seed in the psyche of those who only watch the station. O’Reilly and his ilk’s analysis is probably that of inoculating their viewers to the true fact that Fox News isn’t real news. If they first heard it on Fox News and it is dismissed by Fox News, then its impact maybe forever lost.

Because Republicans do not have any accomplishments to run on, they are relegated to their modus operandi, fear of the other. It is important that no one allows themselves to be pawns in the game.
