Bill Maher enumerates recent Republican instant heroes
Bill Maher pointed out an interesting reality about the character of many instant heroes that Republican conservatives attempted to spring on Americans. They used these in an attempt to create family values, property rights, government overreach, liberal values, and other wedge issues.
Ironically each of the instant heroes turned out to be severely flawed. It begged the question why it was so difficult to find appropriate poster folks for these wedge issues. It turns out that it is hard to find reality based incidences to justify false wedge issues.
“Republicans have to stop being surprised when their instant heroes turn out to be embarrassments,” Bill Maher said. “They are so anxious to buddy up to the forgotten good people, that when a Kim Davis or Joe the plumber or a Cliven Bundy come along they rush to say ‘Now here is a real American’.”
Bill Maher then points out the obvious. “And if these better than the rest of us real Americans really do exist, how come every time you find one they turn out to be a creep,” Bill said. “Either you are a terrible judge of character or else there is nobody home with the good people house.
Maher then enumerated five instant heroes that conservative Republicans attempted to make the good model Americans.
- Kim Davis turned out to have the ‘the conservative values’ of having been married 4 times with several baby daddies out of sync with the current husband.
- Cliven Bundy turned out to be a rather prejudice person unable to hide his proclivity for intolerance and insensitivity.
- George Zimmerman continued to have domestic violence problems and further confrontations with police.
- Joe the Plumber neither had a business nor was a plumber nor was named Joe.
- Josh Duggar simply turned out to be a hypocrite and might we say some one who had many issues with sex.
What does this really say?
