CNN’s Jake Tapper scoffs at Donald Trump adviser who says his boss is never wrong (VIDEO)

CNN's Jake Tapper scoffs at Donald Trump advisor who says his boss is never wrong.

Jake Tapper used adviser’s defense of Trump against Trump

Jake Tapper had a rather extensive interview with Michael Cohen, a Donald Trump adviser. The interview covered Trump’s assertion that thousands of Muslims were rejoicing in the streets after 9/11 and his mocking of a disabled reporter. Tapper was either masterful or lucky in allowing the adviser to ramble himself into using his own words about Trump’s memory to disprove defenses of both issues.

By know we all know that Donald Trump has these two outstanding lies. Why key in on these two insidious lies? It is about character. It is about whether a person will continue to lie even with complete irrefutable evidence to the contrary.

Jake Tapper asked Michael Cohen why it is that not even conservative networks that are friendly to Trump can come up with either photos or videos of Muslims dancing in the streets after 9/11. Cohen continued to claim that Trump’s memory was impeccable. He also said many on Twitter and social media corroborated Trump.

Tapper then moved on to Trump mocking Serge Kovaleski. Kovaleski has a disability that Trump imitated in a speech at one of his rally. He was attempting to ridicule and discredit the reporter who confirmed that Trump was pretty much lying.

Cohen claimed that Trump meets thousands of reporters and does not remember meeting Kovaleski. He said this even as Trump said Kovaleski was a nice reporter who you’ve got to see while at the rally. And that was the kicker. You could see it in the smile on Tapper’s face. He was ready for the kill. Tapper reminded Cohen that he said Trump had a fantastic memory.

To many this is silly. Well that is because it is silly. That the frontrunner in the Republican primary is in conflict on issues like these instead of concentrating on middle-class centric policies is sad. It speaks poorly of the Republican Party and the media that have allowed Trump to get away with so much that many Americans see Trump as the aggrieved and the mainstream media as the attacker. Will his numbers falter. Hell no.
