Fox News goes after Donald Trump (VIDEO)

Fox News goes after Donald Trump (VIDEO).

Is Fox News in the process of neutering their creation

Are the Fox News folks finally going after the encapsulation of all they represent? Are they finally attempting to neuter their well orchestrated creation? Like a runaway nuclear chain reaction it will not be an easy thing to pull back. Donald Trump now has legs and a modus operandi. The Right is reaping what they have sown. And it may be too late to do something about it. Donald Trump will have to self-destruct in order for the Right to be rid of him.

The most obnoxious commentator on the network, Greg Gutfeld, went after Donald Trump. But he went after the network as well.

Greg Gutfeld said that when he saw Trump mocking the disabled reporter he cringed. But in a sort of backhanded slap to the network he said, “But hey, as long as he is in front, who cares.”  He then went on to say correctly that it is not Trump’s fault but the enablers who indulge him.

“That’s my role here Donald,” Gutfeld said. “I care. I am telling you, knock it off because clearly no one else will. Stop treating this like a blue-collar comedy tour. You are not Triumph the insult comedy dog. You need fewer toadies and more folks who operate under a code. And a code is a set of principles that exists independent of politics. A person with a code reacts consistently to actions regardless of who did it. Remember when we nailed President Obama for his Special Olympics joke? A code requires that we do the same here and now. So no more excuses, exaggerations, and impersonations. You are running for president believe it or not.”

Eric Bolling shortly thereafter chimed in. He attempted to defend Trump, by saying it’s possible he didn’t know the reporter was disabled. Of course CNN’s Jake Tapper made a mockery out of that suggestion recently. Bolling suggested that Trump was being held to different standard. Dana Perino replied with an under the throat ‘really?’

Greg Gutfeld’s reply was actually pretty good. “We don’t have a standard for him,” Gutfeld said. “We are letting him get away with everything. If any of us had done that, I don’t think we would have a job.”

Most know that everything at Fox News is done by command and control. No one believes that Greg Gutfeld suddenly got sensible or got a heart. After-all it seemed evident his remarks were very prepared. That said, kudos for being right every so often.
