Donald Trump was startled
The violence that Donald Trump is inciting seems to be reciprocating as some people decide to respond with the same sense of irresponsibility as he is. The Huffington Post reports the following.
Sure, Donald Trump regularly seeks to incite violence at events, but it’s OK –theRepublican presidential front-runner revealed on Friday that doesn’t he think his rallies are violent.
Which is probably why he had to duck and cover behind four secret service members at his own rally in Dayton, Ohio, on Saturday. There were conflicting reports about what actually happened — either a protester tried to rush the stage or there was a “disturbance,” depending on what you read — but Trump had it covered.
“Thank you for the warning,” he said to the crowd. “I was ready for ’em, but it’s much better if the cops do it, don’t we agree?”
Donald Trump’s recent rally in Chicago was cancelled because of the threat of violence. The American campaign process is spirited. It has always been spirited. Trump is bringing back a violent streak that does not need to be revisited. It is up to the American people to penalize Trump for his irresponsible behavior and his prejudice.
