Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump rallies made choice easy for this voter (VIDEO)

This undecided voter decided on Bernie Sanders after attending a Donald Trump rally

The media in many instances equate Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders. NPR posted an article titled “5 Ways Bernie Sanders, And Donald Trump Are More Alike Than You Think” where they cherry picked a few areas of confluence. Many others are circulating as well. It is clear that this is an effort to delegitimize the real progressive nature of the Bernie Sanders campaign.

There are in fact a substantial difference between Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump. After all, Bernie Sanders supports health care as a right. He wants Medicare for all single-payer healthcare. This would ensure that people are no longer held hostage to medical costs. Expensive health care is a tax on Americans that transfers their income and wealth to the wealthy stockholders of the health care industry.

Sanders supports policies to mitigate institutionalized racism and the prison industrial complex. Donald Trump divides as he further factionalizes Americans. There are points after points of differences. Simply read their respective websites.

The voter in the clip above ultimately got it. He likes both Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump. The rallies and the substance of the rallies made up his mind.

“It just seems that there’re more educated, well-informed people that were there, at the Bernie rally,” said Joey Sellers. “And here I see a lot of ignorance. It is actually kind of scary. So it is actually like what I felt coming here, well like OK I am open to the idea. Let me see. Because I like Trump and Bernie. And now I’ve kind of nail the coffin shut with Trump just seeing how people are behaving. … I was thinking, where is the black Trump supporter that will stand up and tell these people like, I don’t know. Not a very diverse crowd. The crowd seems to be rather exclusive and not inviting to other types of diverse people. And I just don’t think a movement like this is going to last.”

Prescient.
