Conservative Pundit: Trump is the walking dead that will win the GOP nomination

Conservative Pundit - Trump is the walking dead that will win the GOP nomination

Is Donald Trump the walking dead?

The New York Times Conservative Columnist David Brooks seemed resigned as he appeared on Meet The Press with Chuck Todd. The Conservative pundit believes that the Donald will win the Republican Presidential nomination, but his next statement was terrifying to the Party.

Chuck Todd asked David Brooks whether the Republican nominee would be Trump, Cruz, or Ryan. He did not even give John Kasich a mention. Brooks’ answer was dire.

“I think it is likely to be Trump,” Brooks said. “I think he is the walking dead. I think he will get the nomination. And he will just go down to a crushing defeat. And he will be known, for a hundred years from now, people will say, ‘Who is the biggest loser in American politics?’ And it won’t be McGovern; it won’t be Dukakis, the word Trump. And I hope when he there he is aware of that.”

Chuck Todd and the rest of the panel reacted with laughter and almost in unison, “Subtle?” Chuck Todd then stated the obvious. A comment like that from Brooks is likely going to get a rather prompt and strong response from Donald Trump.

Unfortunately, these Washington pundits have been wrong and are likely wrong now. Inasmuch as the Donald has had many missteps, inasmuch as he is getting creamed by the polls from women and many other demographics, I am still on edge with this man. If Hillary Clinton is the Democratic nominee, I think he can make it such a nasty brawl that he could win the race based on the factionalization he is good at creating. Those salivating for a Donald victory better be careful what they wish for. America is in a very uneasy state. Politicians created this uneasy state.

Those salivating for a Donald Trump victory better be careful what they wish for. America is in a very uneasy state. Donald Trump is more like Ronald Reagan than most are willing to accept.

Politicians created this uneasy state. It would not surprise me if Trump hired great writers, psychologists, and ad writers that make the ‘politicians’ seem like the least ‘best choice.’ After all, they are the ones who screwed up the system.
