Ivana Trump made clarified what the Trumps past and present believe about immigrants
Ivana Trump made it clear that the Donald Trump’s anti-immigrant stance is based on the belief that immigrants are less than others. For those who believe that Donald Trump anti-immigrant stance is just a media misunderstanding, Ivana’s thought process is probative.
Ivana Trump gave an extensive interview to the New York Post. Some of her statements on immigrants were eye-popping. This stereotype in the following quote shows her lack of depth.
“I have nothing against Mexicans, but if they [come] here — like this 19-year-old, she’s pregnant, she crossed over a wall that’s this high” — Ivana lowers her hand to 4 inches above her wall-to-wall carpeting. “She gives the birth in American hospital, which is for free. The child becomes American automatically. She brings the whole family, she doesn’t pay the taxes, she doesn’t have a job, she gets the housing, she gets the food stamps. Who’s paying? You and me.
How about this one? She shows a certain prejudice that shows her thinking.
“As long as you come here legally and get a proper job . . . we need immigrants. Who’s going to vacuum our living rooms and clean up after us? Americans don’t like to do that.”
The fact that she is comfortable speaking like this shows how far we have receded, well some of us that is. It is time to nip this cancer. We do not need to relive the past.
