James Carville goes ballistic on All-In - We do not need a revolution right now (VIDEO)

James Carville should talk to real Americans before he gives stellar reviews to ‘Democratic’ policies

James Carville went ballistic on All-In with Chris Hayes slamming Bernie Sanders and his followers. He showed a detachment from the pain of real Americans.

James Carville was decidedly vexed. It is evident that his polling shows a severe Democratic split between incrementalists and revolutionaries. Carville continues to see the Democratic based through the eyes of Bill Clinton’s DLC and the triangulating modal. This happens when a party does not freshen its leadership with young blood, new ideas, and a capacity to change.

It is true that Democratic changes under President Obama were monumental. That it has been unable to notch the economic security of the masses further is not solely the fault of the Republicans. During the first few months of the administration when Democrats had full reign, they chose incrementalism when designing the Affordable Care Act (no to the public option, not single-payer/Medicare for All). President Obama chose the Republican Model and got no Republican support yet would not get Democratic support for a real progressive option.

Democrats chose a stimulus that was too small. It is was better than anything the Republicans would have done. But they did not need the Republican vote. And yet, they went incremental.

One can discuss policy after policy and note that many Democrats behave like benign instantiations of Republicans. Many Democrats and independents are fed up with incrementalism that keeps the masses steadily sliding behind in slow increments under Democrats and landslides under Republicans.

James Carville should get off his high horse or leave his ivory tower. Using the Right Wing’s socialist attack on Bernie Sanders neither works with Bernie’s followers nor others. While James Carville scoffs at a political revolution, Americans know that is the only solution to break the back of policies Right and Middle that are decimating the poor and the middle-class.
