Wolf Blitzer asks Sander about Clinton’s qualifications for President. He said she is qualified but questions her judgement.
Hillary Clinton responded that Sanders was unable to answer questions about breaking up the banks.
Bernie Sanders refuses to take back the statement that banks must be responsible for their reorganization.
Bernie Sanders responds to questions about how did money from banks influence Clinton by saying she was speaking to Goldman Sachs for fees as opposed to protecting the American people.
Clinton responded that Sanders was unable to come up with a reason.
Sanders responded that payment for her speeches indicates that banks were not concerned about he talking them down,
Clinton is asked why she would not release speeches to banks. Clinton still refuses to release transcripts unless Republicans release theirs too. She morphs the question to tax return release. When challenged again she still refused.
Sanders said he would release 2014 tax return tomorrow and the rest soon thereafter.
Asked about Verizon CEO calling him uninformed, Sanders said he is overpaid as he tries to cut his employees’ benefits.
When told that bringing back jobs to the US will increase prices, Sanders said that is why he supports higher wages. He said we cannot continue with disastrous trade agreements.
Clinton said she has a comprehensive plan to create jobs. Asked if she would sign a federal $15/hr minimum wage, she said she would.
Bernie said a lot of people are surprised at Hillary Clinton’s change of heart.
Clinton challenged on the lie she told about Vermont guns being a problem in New York. She said Sanders voted against the Brady bill and for giving immunity for gun manufacturers.
Sanders pointed out he has a D- NRA rating and lost an election for going against the NRA.
Clinton asked to explain the 1994 crime bill. Was it a mistake? She said some were good and some were not.
Sanders said Clinton’s use of Super-Predator term was a racist.
Clinton asked about her support for fracking and why she now changed to say her regulations would virtually stop it.
Clinton asked if she was partially responsible for Lybia’s failure. President Obama accepted responsibility. Clinton did not accept responsibility. It is Lybia’s fault
Sanders wants NATO to pay their fair share. After all, they give their citizens good health care and higher education. We don’t.
Clinton said whether they pay their fair share or not she will stay in NATO.
Sanders attacks Hillary Clinton for giving a major AIPAC speech and barely speaking to Palestinian pain. He accused Israel of a disproportionate attack on Palestine. Hillary refused to acknowledge the fact.
