Hillary Clinton calls Trump a fraud explicitly
Hillary Clinton did not mince words at one of here rallies recently as she explicitly called out Donald Trump for the fraud that he effected on many. She made the comments after Trump’s business practices were released. The Guardian reported it as follows.
A federal judge has given the world an unprecedented glimpse into the ruthless business practices Donald Trump used to build his business empire.
US district court judge Gonzalo Curiel on Tuesday made public more than 400 pages of Trump University “playbooks” describing how Trump staff should target prospective students’ weaknesses to encourage them to sign up for a $34,995 Gold Elite three-day package.
Trump University staff were instructed to get people to pile on credit card debt and to target their financial weaknesses in an attempt to sell them the high-priced real estate courses.
“Trump and his employees took advantage of vulnerable Americans encouraging them to max out their credit cards, empty their retirement savings, destroy their financial futures, all while making promises they knew were false from the beginning,” said Hillary Clinton. “This is just more evidence that Donald Trump himself is a fraud. He is trying to scam America the way he scammed all those people at Trump U.”
This type of attack did not work when Donald Trump’s opponents attempted it. Americans sadly are so fed up with rank and file politicians that they seem to excuse just about anything from those they perceive to be non-politicians.
