Baptist Pastor - 'The tragedy is that more of them didn't die'

Baptist Pastor Roger Jimenez shamefully supporters the action of the Orlando mass shooter.

Baptist Pastor Roger Jimenez

Baptist Pastor Roger Jimenez illustrates the reality about hate. The passion with which this Christian rejoices over Orlando massacre is astounding. The Sacramento Bee reported the following.

Sacramento’s religious community Tuesday roundly denounced a Natomas pastor who praised the Orlando massacre for eliminating “sodomites.”  The 45-minute sermon Sunday by Roger Jimenez, pastor of a tiny church in a North Natomas office park, had gone viral by Tuesday morning, drawing condemnation around the nation. YouTube took down a video of the sermon, saying it violated the site’s ban on hate speech. But another copy was quickly posted. Jimenez of Verity Baptist Church spoke to reporters briefly Tuesday morning outside his house on River Run Circle in South Natomas. He said he would not back down from his Sunday sermon lauding the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history. He said he doesn’t intend to incite people to violence against LGBT people, but said he believes the God has “put a death penalty” on them.

Many vilify Islam as a religion that promotes hate. LGBT people know that hate runs across religions. Every minority group in America were victims of hate from religion at some time. We have grown as a country but have much more growing to do.
