Bill Maher shows Donald Trump as a troglodyte
Bill Maher points out why Donald Trump is likely the last person to run for President of the U.S. born in the 50s by exposing him as a troglodyte.
“Now that the Republican convention is finally over,” Bill Maher said. “Those of you thoroughly disgusted by what you witnessed have to look on the bright side. Win or lose, Donald Trump will probably be the last fifties guy to run for president. And frankly, that is something to be thankful for.”
Maher went on to point out the backward thought process of men like Trump. They cling to the idea that women are there to serve them. Maher contends that the friction between the 50s and the 60s is what drives much of the angst in our electoral politics.
“People are the product of the time they grew up in,” said Maher. “If you are a 50’s guy even when you try to join the modern world it’s useless.”
Bill Maher points out that for guys like Trump, white men in the fifties, they really did not have to try all that hard. While Trump complains about the rigged system, Maher said the 50’s was the ultimate, rigged system.
“When Republicans talk about restoring America, making it great again, taking your country back,” Maher said. “This is where they want to take it back to, 1959, when life was still in black and white before the 60’s came along and ruined everything with color. Trump never fully adapted to color. … He and all the 50’s guys like him hold a deep resentment for those trouble makers and outside agitators who came along in the 60’s and mess everything up by pointing out that the 50’s weren’t all that great if you were black, or gay, or a woman.”
