Bernie Sanders concede without a fight
Sanders decided to suspend party rules and have Hillary Clinton voted in by acclamation sparing what could have been a lengthy floor fight. The convention exploded with cheers as soon as he did it. One could see the relief in many of the delegates demeanor.
Ultimately Bernie did the right thing. The numbers have not been there a long time. It is understandable that he held out his viability as long as possible just in case Hillary Clinton’s problems snowballed. Sanders want to ensure that Donald Trumps does not become president.
