Trevor Noah ridicules Newt Gingrich
Trevor Noah did not hold back. After playing a video montage of Newt Gingrich’s attack on Megyn Kelly, he showed Newt’s hypocrisy. The exchange between Kelly and Gingrich was very heated.
“If Trump is a sexual predator,” Megyn Kelly said. “That is …”
“He is not a sexual predator,” Newt Gingrich shouted.
“That’s your opinion,” Kelly said. “I am not taking a position on it.”
“You could not defend that statement,” an unhinged Gingrich shouted. “Now I am sick and tired of people like you, using language that’s inflammatory that’s not true.”
“You want to go back to the tapes of your show recently?” Gingrich shouted. “You are fascinated with sex. And you don’t care about public policy. That’s what I get out of watching you tonight.”
After Trevor played the heated exchange, he reminded the audience that Gingrich cheated on two wives and as such his arguments fell flat.
“By the way,” Noah said. “Newt Gingrich should not be complaining that anyone is fascinated by sex. This is the same dude who cheated on two different wives.”
Noah went on to play the most, ridiculous answer Gingrich gave for his cheating.
“There is no question that in times of my life,” Gingrich said. “Partially driven by how passionately I felt for this country, that I worked too hard. And that, things happen in my life that weren’t appropriate.”
