Hillary Clinton’s statement before she took questions was short, tight, concise, and showed no real concerned that something nefarious would be discovered on her part.

Hillary Clinton Press Conference

Hillary Clinton Press Conference on the FBI’s latest investigation into whether emails from an unrelated case was pertinent to her particular email case.

Here is Clinton’s statement.

I have now seen Director Comey’s letter to Congress. We are eleven days out from perhaps the most important national election of our lifetime. Voting is already underway in our country. The American people deserve to get the full and complete facts immediately. The director himself have said he doesn’t know whether the emails referenced in his letter are significant are not. I am confident whatever they are will not change the conclusion reached in July. Therefore it is imperative that the Bureau explain this issue in question, whatever it is, without any delay. So I look forward to moving forward to focus on the important challenges facing the American people, winning on November eighth, and working with all Americans to build a better future for our country. Thank you.

Answering questions, Clinton said she was not contacted by anyone from the FBI. She said the first she knew about it was when the media heard about it. She then again called on the FBI to release all the information they have. She pointed out that Director Comey said the new emails may not be significant.

When asked what she would tell voters who are concerned about her ethics she explained that voters likely made up their minds on the email issue a long time ago. Clinton said that it has already been factored into their vote. She then urged voters to go out and vote early, because Americans want a president who can lead our country, who can get the economy going for everyone, and who can bring the country together.
