Rambunctious exchange between Clinton & Trump surrogates at Harvard forum (VIDEO)

Donald Trump’s surrogates displayed a cockiness for their electoral college win and popular vote loss that was unbecoming. Clinton’s team’s points were fact based while Trump’s team continued with their delusion.

Shouting match between Clinton & Trump team

A shouting match erupted between several Clinton and Trump surrogates at a postmortem sponsored by Harvard University Kennedy School of Government. This meeting is a two-day forum that the school sponsors after every presidential election. They’ve been doing it since 1972.

The clip highlights some of the most telling exchanges.

“I would rather lose than win the way you guys did,” said Clinton aide Jen Palmieri.

“No you wouldn’t,” said Trump’s campaign manager Kellyanne Conway. “No, you wouldn’t.”

“Yes, yes, yes,” replied Palmieri.

A bit later, Palmieri really hit Conway on their racist campaign.

“One of my proudest moments of her is her standing up and saying with courage and clarity,” Palmieri said. “In Steve Bannon’s own words and Donald Trump’s own words the platform that they gave to white supremacists, white nationalists, and it was a very, very important moment in our history as our country.”

Conway then asked a question. The response for her was likely unexpected.

“Do you think I ran a campaign where white supremacists had a platform?” Kellyanne asked. “Are you going to look me in the face and tell me that?

“It did Kellyanne,” said Palmieri. “It did.”

Kellyanne then went on the attack on Hillary Clinton’s message.

“Do you think you could have just had a decent message for the white working class voters?” Kellyanne asked. “Do you think this woman who has nothing in common with any–”

“I am not,” Palmieri said.

“Be flipped over 200 counties that President Obama won that Donald Trump just won,” Kellyanne said. “You think that’s because of what you just said or because people aren’t ready for a woman president? Really? How about it’s Hillary Clinton? She doesn’t connect with the people. How about they have nothing in common with her. How about you had no economic message.”

Really? Clinton had reams of policy. Where Hillary Clinton failed is being too fact based. Trump promised the world but has already begun his newest con job.

Clinton’s surrogate Joel Benenson made the most important statement.

“Let’s be honest,” Benenson said. “Don’t act as if you have some popular mandate for your message.”

“Guys. I can tell you’re angry, but wow,” Kellyanne said. “Hashtag he’s your president.”

Benenson is absolutely correct. Donald Trump does not have a mandate. Hillary Clinton is winning by over two million votes and counting. Most people voted against Donald Trump. We must not allow him to govern as if he has a mandate. The will of the people is not for the changes he is advocating.
