Former Speaker Boehner admits Obamacare repeal and replace was a fraud (VIDEO)

John Boehner

John Boehner all but admitted that all the repeal and replace talk from Republicans is a fraud on Republican voters.

John Boehner fesses up

Former Republican Speaker of the House John Boehner said Republicans would not repeal or replace Obamacare for several reasons. His statement in the video clip proves that Republican continue to effect a fraud on their constituents.

“I think they will do, they’ll fix Obamacare,” Boehner said. “I shouldn’t have called it repeal and replace because that is not what is going to happen. Basically, we are only going to fix the flaws and put a more conservative box around it.”

In other words, Boehner is admitting to a fraud when he says “I shouldn’t have called it repeal and replace,” knowing it was next to impossible given his caucus.

According to NBC News Boehner went even further.

“And all this happy talk that went on in November and December and January about, ‘Repeal, repeal, repeal, yeah, we’ll do replace, replace,’ I start laughing. Because if you pass repeal without replace, first, anything that happens is your fault. You broke it. And secondly, as I told some of the Republican leaders when they asked, I said, ‘If you pass repeal without replace, you’ll never pass replace, because they will never, ever agree on what the bill should be.’ Perfect always becomes the enemy of the good. And so we’ve got to marry them together. That’s the only chance was have to get it done. That’s why it’s taking a lot longer than people anticipated.”

As I have mentioned ad nauseam, the reason the Republicans cannot find a replacement is that Obamacare is the market solution as proposed by the Conservative Heritage Foundation. Private health care insurance makes no sense as it is nothing more than go-betweens charging us all to pay a bill. Medicare for all, a single-payer solution is the only practical answer for our overpriced ability-to-pay based health care system.
