Chris Hayes excoriates Trump: 'The White House is full of it' & 'BS is party of its DNA' (VIDEO)

I have yet to see any TV host hit the Trump administration as hard as Chris Hayes did on this episode of All-In.

Chris Hayes slams the Trump administration for their lies

Chris Hayes did not pull any punches as he completely eviscerated the Trump administration for a White House defined by lies. Hayes started the segment showing a moment that illustrated the dishonesty of the Trump administration. A reporter asked Trump’s Press Secretary Sean Spicer if Trump believed the jobs report now given his attack on them a few months back. Without blinking and with a smirk he said Trump said the reports might have been phony in the past, but they are real now. Everyone in the room laughed.

Hayes then went on a tear.

“The White House is full of it,” Hayes said. “And they know it. And they know that reporters know it. And they don’t care. You see not a single thing that emanates from this White House can ever-ever be immediately believed, or granted presumptive authority, or assumed to be true — not one thing. Not what the President says. Not what Sean Spicer says. Or what officials say on the record or off the record. Nothing. No matter how serious or how trivial, you simply cannot take any of it at face value. And that is true no matter your politics. Or whether you support or oppose this President’s agenda. This White House has shown over its first fifty days that at the most fundamental level, BS is part of its DNA.”

After displaying multiple instances of Trump lying, Hayes continued.

“Huffington Post counted what it said were a hundred lies from the Trump team in just the first thirty-six days,” Hayes said. “But the lesson of the first fifty days is clear. The White House, the Office of the President, has become an unreliable narrator, a source of information that you just cannot trust.”

Hayes then pointed out why it matters. He said it matters especially when a president says that millions are voting illegally when a president misleads about contact with Russia, and when a president accuses his predecessor of illegally wire tapping.

It will be a long four years assuming Trump can last. Robert Reich already believes there are five grounds for impeachment.
