Comedy Central's Hasan Minhaj slams it at White House Correspondents' Dinner (VIDEO)

Comedy Central’s Hasan Minhaj remarks at the 2017 White House Correspondents’ Dinner was brilliant. One should watch the entire speech as while funny; he skewered Trump as the liar-in-chief, MSNBC, Fox News, CNN, USA Today, Huffington Post, and other media outlets.

Comedy Central’s Hasan Minhaj Killed it

Hasan Minhaj remarks were comedic but very truthful as he roasted both Donald Trump and the media garnering many nervous laughs. Hasan said it was ironic that in the age of Trump, it is funny that a Muslim gave the remarks.

Hasan admonished the media for complaining about the number of times Donald Trump is off golfing.

“Do you want to know what he is not doing when he’s golfing,” Hasan asked. “Being president. Let the man putt-putt. … The longer you keep him distracted, the longer we are not at war with North Korea. Every time Donald Trump goes golfing the headlines should read, ‘Trump Golfing. Apocalypse delayed. Take the W.”

Hasan pointed out that Donald Trump does not drink which should be concerning. Why? It means he was sober for all the crazy things he tweets.

“We are living in the golden age of lying,” Hasan said. “Now is the time to be a liar. And Donald Trump is liar-in-chief. And remember, you guys are public enemy number one. You are his biggest enemy, journalists, ISIS, normal-length ties. And somehow you are the bad guys. That is why you have to keep your foot on the gas especially with Sean Spicer.”

Hasan went on to blame the media for Americans lacking trust in them. He skewered Fox News, CNN,  MSNBC, Huffington Post, and others.

In the end, he urged them to do better. He pointed out that they are now holding minority status, they must work twice as hard for half the reward.

This speech was one of the better WHCD speeches as he wrote it very well. It was intelligent, hard hitting but not mean.
