Joe Scarborough meltdown over Comey firing: Republicans stand the hell up

Joe Scarborough Republican Party

Joe Scarborough was always concerned about his Republican Party with the advent of Donald Trump. Joe went on a Twitter storm with salient advice to Republicans.

The James Comey firing is very serious. It is similar to President Richard Nixon’s Saturday Massacre. It is clear that Donald Trump is trying to shut down the Russia collusion investigation. The president’s spokesperson appeared on another cable channel and said as much. Sarah Huckabee Sanders appeared on Tucker Carlson and had the following to say.

Comey was, of course, helming the investigation into Trump’s possible Russian ties, but Huckabee Sanders didn’t find that relevant.

“I don’t think it affects it at all. In any capacity whatsoever, you’ve still got the same people that would be carrying out that, whether it’s through the Department of Justice, that process continues both — I believe — in the House and Senate committees. I don’t see any change or disruption there. I think the bigger point on that is, ‘My gosh, Tucker, when are they gonna let that go?’ It’s been going on for nearly a year. Frankly, it’s kinda getting absurd. There’s nothing there.”

She went on to insist that nothing has come from probes into Russian collusion, “it’s time to move on,” and, “frankly, it’s time to focus on the things the American people care about.”
