It is clear that the wealthy, the plutocracy has indoctrinated Americans and for that matter, people all over the world in a manner that batters their worth and self-esteem. It is a form of oppression that guarantees the unfair accumulation of wealth by a few because most people believe or are unaware they can change our economic system.
The wealthy’s wealth is not all theirs
Like robots, most got to work every day and produce billions of dollars of profits for a class that considers them but slaves by another name. Slavery is no longer skin color based. You see, the most powerful chains no longer use steel but indoctrination. The chains now reside in the grey matter of most.
We are made to believe that the economic system is divine. The capitalists invest their money. They hire people at whatever wage the mythical market dictates. They then keep all profits. And why do they deserve the massive profits; because they risked their capital? And what did the employees risk? They risked their bodies, their health, their limbs. One could not exist without the other. That we give preeminence to those who risk capital over body shows the immorality of the system.
This week’s Politics Done Right covered this subject in the show titled “Americans are gullible. That’s why politicians screw us on healthcare & much more.” The article titled “Middle-Class Must Assert Its Worth To Assure Their Share Of America’s Wealth.” expands on this as well.
The reality is we must demand a more equitable economy. We must insist that an economy works for humanity and not the other way around. When we start believing in and asserting our worth, when we start believing the truth that we have a rigged economic system, we will then have the impetus to force change and demand what belongs to us all.
