Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi went toe to toe with Chuck Todd on Meet the Press as he asked her about several issues with Congressmen and sexual predation. But at the end of the interview, she made it known she was disappointed that Chuck Todd got conned into not addressing the tax cut scam by the Republicans. She let him have it.

In what can only be called a badgering interview, Chuck Todd spent most of his time with repetitive questions about the sexual harassment scandal with Nancy Pelosi. The Minority Leader, after answering Todd’s repetitive questions ad nauseam attempted to create her segue to the Republican tax cut scam.
“But I am here to talk about something also transformative in our society,” Pelosi said. “And that is this tax bill that Republicans have put forth.”
“And I want to get into this,” Todd replied disingenuously. “But there seems to be a political paralysis here in trying to figure this out.”
“It isn’t,” Pelosi replied. “We are moving. This week we will pass bipartisan legislation.”
Chuck Todd continued to press the subject on the sexual harassment issue. Then suddenly told Pelosi that there was no more time.
“You mean we are not even going to talk about taxes?” Pelosi objected. “You see. You have fallen into the place.:”
What did she mean by that? Once again Chuck Todd and the mainstream media have shown they cannot walk and chew gum at the same time. They left an issue that could be voted on shortly hanging while given all the time to an issue where the due process will be slow but necessarily thorough.
But Nancy Pelosi would not be denied. She said her piece.
“They are doing something that is going to increase the debt enormously,” Pelosi continued. “It is going to be a job killer. And it is going to raise taxes on the middle-class. And that has a big impact on the individual lives of all Americans. And really we should be spending more time on that.”
A taken aback Chuck Todd came back with a silly response.
“Do you think this other issue isn’t as serious?” Chuck asked.
Pelosi showed why she was one of the most effective speakers.
“Look,” a frustrated Pelosi said. “As a woman, a mother of four daughters. I think it is enormously important. But I think that we have to have a balance in how we go forward because this is giving them cover. There are so many reasons why we should be concerned about the Republican majority in Congress.”
Chuck Todd closed the interview. Pelosi is heard saying, “That’s disappointing.”
