Bill Maher poignant message to Trumpsters is very deep and true (VIDEO)

Friday’s Real Time with Bill Maher was utterly out of control Anthony Scaramucci, Donna Brazile, and David Frum got into some heated exchanges, some bordering on the personal. But Bill Maher’s last New Rules knocked it out of the park for me as he told Trumpsters and inconvenient truth that one hopes make them introspective.

Bill Maher tells Trumpsters an inconvenient truth

Maher first pointed out a few realities few Trumpsters seem to realize. The wall was an applause line, and Trump all but admitted it to the Mexican president. Most undocumented immigrants did not come and are not coming through the southern border but by airplane where they overstay their visas. But his words at the end are probative. His words may be harsh but they have merit.

“Even Trump admitted the wall was bogus when he was caught on tape on a call to Mexico’s president saying the wall is the last least important thing we are talking about,” Bill Maher said. “It was always just an applause line that got out of hand. So there you have it. The wall will not help with employment. It’s not feasible to build. And even Trump knows it’s bullsh$t.”

Maher then told the inconvenient truth.

“And if all that isn’t enough to deter you let me add this, Trumpsters, you don’t need it because everything that wall represents, the bigotry, the racism, the ignorance, the paranoia, is already in your heart. Yes, the wall has been inside you the whole time. Trump just brought it out because he is the jackass whisperer. But you don’t need it. Every time you go through a child molester because the other choice is a Democrat, the wall is there. Every time you feel rage because the voice recording says for Spanish press two, the wall is there. It’s there whenever you begin a Facebook post with ‘I’m not a racist but.’ And it’s there every time the unisex bathroom makes you hold until you get home. It’s there when snow makes you deny global warming. And it’s there at the ballgame when two ‘gays kissing makes you throw up in your mouth. Every time you use air quotes when you say the word college, the wall is there. It’s there when you use jew as a verb. And it’s there every time you’re Tucker Carlson. So you don’t need a wall. Because you see, even without it you’re still the grumpy a$$hole who ruins Thanksgiving.”

Harsh, but it needed to be said for some.
