You must watch Chuck Todd blasting Donald Trump and his inept administration. He was in a form seldom seen by any of the Cable Network’s hosts who for many years tried to stay in Trump’s good graces.

Chuck Todd went on a Trump destructing tirade on Meet the Press Daily that all must see as he strung Trump’s scandals and ineptitudes in one long monologue.
“It feels like we’ve reached a level of crazy in the White House, and it’s difficult to take it anymore,” Todd said. “Reality TV appearances, tabloid gossip, conspiracy theories, name-calling, vulgarities and a level of egomania few have ever seen in Washington. And that’s saying something. … It’s like we’re living inside of a parody. What would happen if Donald Trump became president? Omarosa would probably work in the West Wing! And then she’d leave to go on Big Brother to dish about administration secrets! Ha!’ … Oh, wait. That happened.”
It is hard to believe all of those scandals and evil deeds occurred in an administration just one-year-old. It should have one fearing what else is to come. What Chuck Todd failed to acknowledge is his and the rest of the media’s complicity in making Donald Trump president of the United States because of the dereliction of their duty.
Had the media call out Trump as they are required to do as the fourth estate, it is clear that the Trump mystique would have never risen. They made him plausible. They normalized the then-candidate. Now the “crazy’ that Todd talks about is no longer the exception. It is the rule, and folks are so used to it that the president paying off a porn star does not even seem strange nor does it put his presidency in any danger.
There is a real question now. Can we recover from this or has Trump made the country into his image, an immoral scourge where values are irrelevant.
