I refuse to write too much about the Russia Scandal given the destruction the Trump administration has been inflicting on America from within its core. The Russia probe is fact-based and will take care of itself. It is imperative that we concentrate on the decimation the Trump administration is afflicting on America internally. That said, Robert Mueller’s methodical takedown of many principals in the Trump administration requires some notice.
Donald Trump is in more significant trouble than most believe he is
Donald Trump may face more significant problems than he thinks. Mueller seems to know how to get people to sing. Former Nixon White House aide John Dean tweeted a message that should scare the president. The tweet said the following.

Mueller is throwing everything he can against Manafort, including Gates who can nail him. Increasingly it appears Manafort is the link to Russian collusion. If Gates can testify that Manafort was acting with Trump’s blessings, it’s the end of his presidency. That’s substantial.
It could not have been clearer over the last few weeks based on Trump’s erratic behavior and pronouncements about Russia and conspiracy that he is preparing his base for bad news. In the process, he along with Representative Nunes are attempting to undermine the credibility of the FBI and the Justice Department. The intent is to make any report from Mueller suspect, political, and toxic. They hope Congress will ignore any detrimental release.

In other words, Trump is not being brought down by Democrats. Some Republicans seem to be doing an excellent job in ensuring that those who broke the law during and after the Trump election are held accountable. The excuse that some deep state is against the Donald does not hold water and eventually even his staunchest supporters will realize that.
