Bill Maher defends Trump meeting Kim Jong-un in funny monologue

Bill Maher, in a hilarious monologue, staunchly defended Donald Trump hastily prepared statement saying he will meet with Kim Jung-un.

Bill Maher had several points when he defended Donald Trump’s seemingly haphazardly put together later meeting with North Korea’s Kim Jung-un.

Maher started the monologue saying he was happy that Jun-un told South Korea he is willing to meet with the leader of the United States. Since Vladimir Putin was not available, he would meet with Trump, funny spin on Trump’s potential meeting with the North Korean leader.

Maher said the meeting could be dangerous since we are talking about a family that has renigged on every deal they’ve ever signed. “And Kim Jung-un can’t be trusted either,” Maher said.

Bill held his fire for the Liberal talking heads on TV.

“To all these Liberals who are reflexively hating on this,” Maher said. “(A) Obama, remember him, proposed the same thing in 2008 and they loved it.”

Bill pointed out that stating that no president had ever done what Trump is doing with North Korea before, neglects a reality. They’ve all failed in making progress with North Korea in the past. So the statement is indeed without merit in his opinion.

“I will file this one under,” Bill said. “It’s so crazy; it might work. This is the one thing that Trump, honestly, is uniquely qualified to pull off. Because it is Kim and him, Rocketman and Rainman are mirror images. In a weird way, they respect each other.”

Maher then points out all their similar quirks as well as “inexplicable” hairstyles.

“Who is the one American that Kim likes? Dennis Rodman,” Maher continued. “Trump is the closest thing we are going to get to President Dennis Rodman.”

Maher made an issue with Liberal pundits castigating Trump’s move because he is giving Jung-un the respect his family craved.

“So what if it works,” Maher said.”

Bill ends acknowledging that no one knows what is in Kim’s head, why he may be warming up to Trump. Whatever it is in his opinion, does not matter.
