Fired FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe not going quietly

Andrew McCabe

Donald Trump in a vindictive move “forced” Attorney General Jeff Session to fire the FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe on Friday. If he thought that the Deputy Director would just quietly leave with his tail tucked between his legs, he was sadly mistaken.

Ironically, the president’s evil act of attempting to deny McCabe his full retirement likely backfired. Many congresspersons are offering him positions to ensure he will have his full retirement benefits.

McCabe is not going away quietly. CNN reported the following.

McCabe alleged that the report’s release was sped up “only after” his testimony suggested that he would corroborate Comey’s accounts of his conversations with Trump.

“Here is the reality: I am being singled out and treated this way because of the role I played, the actions I took, and the events I witnessed in the aftermath of the firing of James Comey,” McCabe said in a statement. “The OIG’s focus on me and this report became a part of an unprecedented effort by the Administration, driven by the President himself, to remove me from my position, destroy my reputation, and possibly strip me of a pension that I worked 21 years to earn. The accelerated release of the report, and the punitive actions taken in response, make sense only when viewed through this lens.”

Donald Trump will likely pay dearly for setting the parts in motion causing Attorney General Jeff Sessions to fire Andrew McCabe. Every single one of the people he relieved of duty in these institutions has more intellect and likely have enough on the President to ensure that he will ultimately fail. In fact, the president with his moves may have sped up his ultimate demise. It is just a matter of time before the coalescing of all of those the president has hurt come together and save the country from this disgrace of a president.
