Chuck Todd shows where he stands - Uses subliminal messaging to disparage Democratic Socialism

Chuck Todd only needed to use a few words. While it may seem innocuous or making a mountain out of a molehill, it is not. If one wonders how the Plutocracy created an almost immutable follower of the Right Wing, this is the technique.

Chuck Todd’s words were short and simple as he transitions to a commercial. But it was the tonality and the topics that are MSNBC seems to be touting, a Democratic Party that needs to move to the center.

Chuck Todd, capitalism’s stooge?

“I am going to sneak in a break,” Chuck Todd said. “Because we are capitalists here.”

I went to a Netroots Nation Conference where I listened to the best story I heard of how one moves folks to a steady path of ignorance. Detroit Activist Maureen Taylor used a frog in a pot of water as the example.

Maureen Taylor starts by noting that small incremental changes are how we can be manipulated. She gave the example of the unverified story of a frog in water that is incrementally heated. By the time the frog would realize he is in trouble, the water would be boiling and he would be cooked.

“In history, there analogous kinds of things that have happened,” Maureen Taylor said. “You can’t incinerate thousands, millions of Jewish people unless you put forward a national narrative that this group of people, there is something wrong with them. You have to do all of that first. You can’t pick Africans up and bring them across the rivers and the seas and just do bad things for hundreds of years unless you create a national narrative that says well this must be accepted.”

Slowly disparage something, subliminal or otherwise, without calling it out by name. That is how the Plutocracy operates, the Powell Manifesto in action. In the snippet in this blog post, Chuck Todd is belittling those supportive of Democratic Socialism without even using the term. The implication is obvious. What is dangerous is that he will likely bring his bias to candidates like Bernie Sanders, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilan Omar, and others who want bend our economic system to support us all instead of its distinct design to enrich a few.
