It's not the government that's bad but a hoodwinked we-the-people's choices

The powers-that-be have progressively neutered Americans politically. They brainwashed them into believing that the government was some third entity instead of the reality that it is we-the-people. This misguidance was a well-orchestrated attack by those who feared Americans were getting too smart, thus putting their wealth supremacy at risk.

The Powell Manifesto was instrumental in the hoodwinking of our citizens. They infiltrated every institution in our society, including schools, churches, and private sector entities. But most importantly it created purported think tanks like the Heritage Foundation that released studies that had the semblance of objectivity, reality, and gravitas that was all but a mirage.

In a recent rant on Politics Done Right, I pointed out that the Plutocracy intends that we see government as some abstract evil entity. Their intent is clear and systematic.

  1. Convince Americans that the government is a separate entity.
  2. They demonize the government by implying it is a separate entity and as such, are without concern that it will alienate we the people since in effect in people’s mind government is no longer we the people.
  3. Make government so unbearably bad that people clamor to privatize all government functions.

Government is good

If we want the government to be effective, we must elect people who believe in good governance. Recently elected strong women like Diane Trautman and Ann Harris Bennett in Texas’ largest county display those attributes.

Ann Harris Bennett, the county’s tax assessor-collector and voter registrar continue to expand access to the ballot by making her office not only proactive but accessible as she educates and empower citizens in all aspect of voting.

Dianne Trautman, Harris County Clerk revamped the way people vote in the county. Everyone can vote anywhere in the county both during early voting and during the general election.

Electing politicians like Ann Harris Bennett and Diane Trautman around the country would bring faith in government again.

We must not fall for the con. It is imperative that we maintain and expand our government to support or add particular services in the public sector (healthcare, infrastructure, etc.) A private sector would be more vibrant if we offloaded functions where the profit motive is detrimental to its humane, functioning.
