Congressman Hakeem Jeffries in perfect sequence, proved using the Mueller Report that Donald Trump obstructed justice. He made it an open and shut case.
Rep. Hakeem Jeffries “Impeaches” Trump at Mueller Hearings
The Congressman proves the three points that define, obstruction of justice.
- Trump committed an obstructive act when he ordered Don McGahn to fire the special counsel.
- The obstruction act was connected to an official proceeding.
- The act was carried out with corrupt intent.
It was clear that Robert Mueller did not immediately want to be taken down the road the Congressman was leading him to cross. But Jeffries held the special counsel’s hand even as at times he tried to pull away.
When Mueller realized where the Congressman had taken him, he had to make a modification to the affirmation he had given just about every one of the Congressman’s assertions. How did he do that? He said that he would not necessarily come to the Congressman’s conclusions in the manner that he did but he did not say he was wrong.
While Congressman Jeffries and other Democrats treated the hearings with the respect and seriousness it deserved, Republicans made a mockery of the hearing. They used it as a platform to parrot Fox News conspiracy theories.
