Bernie Sanders and all Progressive candidates should call out Joe Biden’s rich donors who are not just satisfied with their ill-earned wealth, but a belief that the Democratic Party must be in their control as well. This is, in fact, the difference between the frontrunner and his two closest rivals.
The reason Joe Biden is not the preferred candidate is his billionaire supporter’s tenets are diametrically opposed to the current nature of the Democratic Party. The democratic masses are no longer interested in DLC policies and triangulation.
Democrats are the party of Medicare for All, the Green New Deal, Pay-It-Forward college, Student debt-forgiveness, the recapture of “stolen” wealth via the wealth tax, family leave, and childcare. In other words, Democrats are the party who will work to ensure all can live a socially and economically dignified life.

During a fundraiser for former Vice President Joe Biden in Chicago on Thursday, billionaire casino and real estate magnate Neil Bluhm said Sen. Bernie Sanders doesn’t represent the Democratic Party Bluhm supports, drawing a quick retort from the Vermont presidential contender.
Sanders expressed agreement with Bluhm, whose casinos have a history of union-busting and other anti-worker abuses.
“Mr. Bluhm is right—the Democratic Party I represent is the party of the working class, not billionaires,” said the Vermont senator. “That’s why we’re going to win.”
